Our new oval fine silver hammered rings are proving to be extremely popular. We have had requests for smaller ones too, so here they are! Two smaller sizes have been added today. Following a request from one of our lovely customers we have added 3 sizes of oval fine silver hammered rings to our hammered ring range, so now you have the choice of round in 5 sizes or oval in 3 sizes made from varying thicknesses of wire! Today sees the launch of our latest kit - the Flower Chain Bracelet. This is a lovely chain that is easy to make, and as such is an ideal project for  beginners and more advanced maillers alike. The flowers are very versatile - they make lovely components in their own right, for example in earrings or in a pendant. And it’s a quick project to make too!

 

Regrettably, today we have had to increase the prices of our sterling silver rings due to the dramatic increase in silver prices. We waited as long as possible before increasing prices, but due to the huge increase in our raw materials over recent weeks we now have no option. We will lower our prices as soon as the precious metal market allows.

We have added a range of hammered fine silver rings. There are currently 5 sizes, made from varying thicknesses of wire. The smallest hammered rings are perfect for including in your earring designs! As our “chunky monkey” lobster clasp has proved to be extremely popular, we have added a further three sizes. You can see them all at the top of our clasps page.

We have added another magazine ring kit pack. This time it is for the Captured Ball Bracelet, again by the wonderful chain maille artist George Harper East (yes, George has recently married; many congratulations to George and her lovely new husband!) This project was published on pages 48-49 in Beads & Beyond, May 2009. We have had excellent feedback on our magazine ring kit packs, and will add more as appropriate. :-)

 

From today we will no longer be making brass jump rings. We still have a small amount of brass wire, so please get in touch if you need brass rings and we may be able to help.
